Kimi found me while searching for an experienced inked girls photographer and after a few emails, headed over from Manchester for a portfolio shoot. I love the tattooed look and Kimi carries it off well. We did a whole raft of sets starting with the white corner and ending on the bedroom where I created some beautiful shadowed lighting for a boudoir shoot. Kimi has already booked to come over again in June after her trip to America and I’m looking forward to working with her again. Between the two shoots, she’s going to get a wicked portfolio and already from this shoot she has been published in a couple of online magazines aimed at the inked girls.

Boudoir photographer Wakefield: Nikki booked in for a boudoir shoot today and the super spring sunshine made for some great light during the warm up session. Shooting with the patio doors wide open and using the natural light give us some beautiful fashion and glamour before we change to lingerie for the boudoir session. I shot some ‘lazy Sunday morning’ images before moving on to the spiral staircase and then finishing in the bedroom. I love the warm, coffee tinted black and whites which adds a touch of softness to the harsh Hollywood lighting that I love to use for these shoots. A great shoot and some awesome images for Nikki to choose from.

I am Alice’s go to Wakefield boudoir photographer :¬) This is the third shoot Alice has booked with me and this session was probably one of the best we’ve had so far. I got some really gorgeous glamour images but I especially liked this boudoir set we did in the bedroom creating some beautiful atmospheric lighting which resulted in a set of really soft feminine beauty shots. Although I’ve presented them here in black &  white, they look just as nice in colour but there’s just something timeless about these coffee tinted images.

Yorkshire Boudoir photographer Wakefield: My second boudoir shoot of the week, this time with Anita who booked her ‘secretly gorgeous’ session last week. We shot a mix of high key and low key images in various sets with Anita changing outfits several times to give us a good selection of images to choose from. I’m posting a small selection here with Anita’s permission to give a taster of the kind of images we created. Gorgeous!

Boudoir photographer Wakefield: Just last week Nicky booked in for a Valentine boudoir shoot and today we were on set and shooting some fabulous ‘secretly gorgeous’ boudoir photos of her. There were no initial nerves and so the session went smoothly from the off and we worked our way through a variety sets and outfits. I think the photos clearly show that boudoir is for the young at heart and not just the young! It’s never to late to pack up your favourite lingerie items and pay a visit to the studio, I can guarantee you will have an amazing time and come away with some even more amazing images.

I shot all these images, which Nicky has kindly allowed me to post, using the Fuji X Pro-1. Regular blog followers will know that I bought one of these highly praised cameras and I am currently putting it through its paces and trying to familiarise myself with this beautiful retro styled piece of kit. In a further attempt to further my shooting style, I also lit all these images with hotlights rather than the usual large studio lights.
